Vermont NORML is a nonprofit public-interest advocacy group, which seeks to build a fair and equitable cannabis market in the Green Mountain State. Vermont is proud to be the first state to legalize recreational cannabis through the legislature. With assistance from the national organization, the most respected and established national cannabis reform group in the country, we bring attention to both the medical and adult-use communities through representation, legislative reform, and accountability. In order to enact lasting social change, VT NORML strives to ensure that those who’ve been negatively impacted by cannabis prohibition receive legitimate representation in the cannabis market in Vermont. As this market continues to develop, we sit at a crucial point in not only our small, self-sufficient state’s history, but in the national discourse around the many benefits of cannabis legalization and social equity.
